Interesting fact about "Zvyozdny" camp
"Zvezdniy" was opened in the years of active subjugation of the human cosmos, so the name was given to him symbolic. The name of the camp was proposed by Alisa Fedorovna Debolskaya - head of the department "Orlyonka" (1963 - 1966).
"Zvezdniy" is a name and now defines the life and activities of the camp, in which "starry" children and "star teams" gather, where cosmonauts and specialists in the field of space technologies come to meet with the children every year.
And it all began with a detachment of the first conquerors of the universe. November 24, 1964 they arrived at the then All-Russian pioneer camp "Orlyonok" headed by Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin. The delegation included V.M. Komarov, A.A. Leonov, A.G. Nikolaev, K.P. Feoktistov, as well as engineers of the spacecraft. The meeting of astronauts and eaglets was held on the deck of the new "Zvezdniy".
In memory of this event on the camp building a memorial plaque is installed. On it - the words of Yu.A. Gagarin - the motto of the "star" eaglets - "Every business needs to be done" perfectly "- this is the most important thing in life."
In the camp "Zvezdniy" there are many cosmic tracks. There is a Space Staircase and the Starry Square, and in the camp's living room an exposition of unique photographs, given to the eaglets by the Museum of the First Flight of Gagarin, is framed.
